Looking at the RAP and assessing tackles / challenges, what chance did Hațegan actually have, after his (IMO) brave and excellently correct RC in ITAWAL. Sad, if you ask me.

I don't like many decisions for handball topic. I find it complicating an already complicated matter.
For example:
What is the difference between C12 and C13? My opinion: play-on in both scenarios.
I don't understand that C6 has not been judged as deliberate handling. That the player has his hands behind his back is not the only factor there, a clear move towards ball is more important in my opinion.
C21 and C26 - in both cases players don't fight for the ball, their only goal is to move across the crossing/shooting path. In my opinion, it's up to them to ensure that their hands don't make the body unnaturally bigger and in both cases they fail. It's rewarding the astuteness of defenders.
I would like to kindly ask: how credible is a federation that change their instructions every six months? You make a decision that is right at that time, then after half a year it's a mistake and after another half a year it becomes correct again. Is it soooo difficult to find right solutions that don't change twice a year?
I assume that the referees at the Euro's got early access to this material. A17 must have been watched by Hategan. It's pretty similar to his red card.
B6 is supposed to be a RC for Dogso. The distance is far away and the touch rather away from goal IMO. I understand that if you stop at the point of the foul you can definitely make a case for DOGSO, but in reality the top refs would never give a RC. Does someone know what UEFA said about Stielers RC against Freuler? (Atalanta vs. Real Madrid)

Yep - UEFA at least started to see some sense after the lunacy in the last RAP where some headbutts were assessed as 8.

ReplyDeleteI don't use Mulppy on Windows. I just open the media folder in the explorer and play the videos with vlc.
