I spoke with numerous referees ranked highly in our leagues who all said that whistling an offensive foul on the goalkeeper can be supported and is even a clever call. I honestly disagree with this, for me it's a penalty, but, I know it's only an opinion.

I think most persons here were dissatisfied with the style and form of your comment rather than with your content. As you correctly said, obviously your main point was not understood by many people here. This should make you think. Perhaps it's because you put conspiracy theories regarding UEFA/Chefren/Vlad/Mikael over your content?

You hopefully see I try to be moderating this conflict, and even if you maybe have good arguments for your opinions on the incidents mentioned, the way how you placed your comments has not been OK, honestly.
lucac2218https://www.blogger.com/profile/00018753515713459750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3596681196436096141.post-8774111292674913952018-12-12T17:22:16.842+01:002018-12-12T17:22:16.842+01:00@lucac2218
You didn't understand the idea of ...@lucac2218

You didn't understand the idea of my post. Probably you are not the only one.

When Chefren said "today we saw a very concentrated referee" I replied with the fact that Skomina totally missed the most important foul of the game. He saw the intervention of Van Dijk but he turned away from that contact. Very concentrated, indeeed ...
Opinion of Chefren was that we saw a very good Skomina (who deserves the CL final after this performance). I said that is impossible to rate the performance of Skomina as very good because he missed a red card for SFP.

Also Cunha's performance was praised by Chefren&friends. He missed a clear penalty (how is possible to whistle foul on gk ?) and a probable red card for Pablo Perez. What irritated me is the fact that, in both these cases, he whistled and stopped the game but HE DIDN'T TAKE (or SHOW) A DECISION. When you whistle you should immediatly show your decision (free kick for one team, penalty, throw-in etc.). Cunha waited for infos from VAR and with huge delay he showed the decisions.
The luck of Cunha is that River won and a big scandal was avoided. During the game, all the messages from blog were in favour of clear penalty. But after the game, when a big scandal was avoided because River won, it was the perfect opportunity for Chefren&friends to clean the garbage that Cunha made it during the game: "indirect free kick to defender is a supportable choice, the raised leg was a dangerous play against the keeper" (Chefren), "I accept the decision to whistle a foul on a goalkeeper" (Vlad), "Cunha showed to be one of the top class referees in the world last night" (Mikael). Cunha decided for a direct free kick, not an indirect free-kick (as many people thought during the game; it is possible to see that Cunha didn't have his hand raised when the free-kick was taken)

Sorry because I'm harsh but that's the reality. petschovschihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12704884480815856175noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3596681196436096141.post-12763829738378289962018-12-12T16:36:01.530+01:002018-12-12T16:36:01.530+01:00An interesting calculation for petschovschi:

Proper analysis should look at how it can be reached to make sure someone in the team looks at potential dangerous contact better. This is obviously what is done by Mr H Dallas. No need to throw the first stone to pull Skomina into the dirt.lucac2218https://www.blogger.com/profile/00018753515713459750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3596681196436096141.post-43397316888859227532018-12-12T13:32:07.563+01:002018-12-12T13:32:07.563+01:00SFP and VAR would have invited Skomina to rewatch....SFP and VAR would have invited Skomina to rewatch.Chefrenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09540069165794069444noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3596681196436096141.post-40283888507199897562018-12-12T13:27:18.275+01:002018-12-12T13:27:18.275+01:00https://streamable.com/qhyp4https://streamable.com/qhyp4Jacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01233110893275558420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3596681196436096141.post-75608927271350896582018-12-12T13:26:50.505+01:002018-12-12T13:26:50.505+01:00https://streamable.com/fwsarhttps://streamable.com/fwsarJacksonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01233110893275558420noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3596681196436096141.post-85107375485945425532018-12-12T13:20:26.087+01:002018-12-12T13:20:26.087+01:00What Sale said but i have to add its easy for us t...What Sale said but i have to add its easy for us to say anything after looking 5 times on replay. They really don't want scandals after the games. If we don't have scandal than the performance of the refereee is (at least) acceptable (no matter how many mistakes did the referee). Lahoz didn't whistle 4 penalties and 1 red card in Italy- Sweden, but there was scandal only after Northern Ireland- Switzerland (and you know the consequences). I am a referee on the pitch with some experience and years ahead of me, but if you google my name you will find zero results. Also, I certainly do not believe in the utilitarianism of UEFA refereeing, quite the contrary, some of the politics being played there is really shocking believe me...
I only write about what I see, nothing more or less. I can be wrong, but I always write with integrity.

As I said, I think it's actually disgusting that you suggest that Chefren, Vlad and I work with an ulterior motive. All the work that I and everyone do on the blog comes is purely for the passion, nothing else.
Maybe you saw, I have a little place on the Kronika sędziowska blog where I write reports on matches which are far away from the general focus. Sometimes I cannot recognise one player. I could just watch the matches for my own satisfaction, but I want to give sth back to community that taught me so much (thank you for the nice comments about them, btw). It takes me a lot of time to watch the matches, write the notes, cut the clips, and then type up the report. I must say I was really happy when Chefren decided to open this blog (after the closure of 3rdteam) and he runs it excellently and informs us (with the help of Vlad & other members) on various aspects of refereeing. I appraise him for his democratic approach to commenting; sometimes as members we agree and sometimes we agree to disagree but always taking into account the cultural and polite way of communication. I’ve noticed that some members e.g. petschovschi, Sheriff Castrili, Anton Kniazev and his clone nick names, use this blog, to pour out all of their personal frustrations, life dissatisfaction, envy etc. on this blog. Attacking other members or demeaning referees in their posts tell more about their personalities than of those who are attacked/discredited by them. It is such a pity that Mr. Collina and Mr. Rosetti could not see their ‘’knowledge’’ and ‘’see-it-all’’ and ‘’know-it-all’’ refereeing abilities, which they present on this blog and hire them as an UEFA staff to make appointments or as referee observers in UEFA competitions.
C’mon guys, @petschovschi, @Sheriff Castrili, @Anton Kniazev give yourselves a slack, go to the bar for a beer of two, you’ll cheer up a bit. There is life outside of this blog and if you do not like it just skip it, we would really appreciate it because nobody needs your negativism on this blog (objectivity yes, negativism no).
Andrejahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10241889541385021915noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3596681196436096141.post-84368640745973439592018-12-12T08:27:46.543+01:002018-12-12T08:27:46.543+01:00Dear petschovschi, I wont delete your message but ...Dear petschovschi, I wont delete your message but I must notice again that, as you did many times in the past, after having stated of leaving the blog forever, you are again here. That's should mean something. I really don't understand, first of all, why you don't want to participate in the discussions, and then after a certain time you are back writing again. You are free to do that, but again, let me say, really don't understand. If you are here, you have to accept also other readers opinion.
Having said that, I will answer to your questions: my real identity is not important. I started to follow the previous blog when Niclas was the administrator, I shared with him the passion of having such blog and then when he decided to close, I accepted to open another blog. We are absolutely independent and everbody is entitled to have his opinion. I think that the fact you can read many different opinions demonstrates that. You mentioned Cunha among the referees "protected", according to your opinion, I remember that there were also negative comments about his performance. And the same for other referees. There is nothing strange here. No advertisement because I don't want that and people must feel free to read this blog. That's all. You are the only user making such questions and it seems as you don't want to believe to anything. This is my last answer, however, I think that you got all the info you wanted to know. Regards. It was quite funny to...I can only speak for myself. It was quite funny to read that I'm a UEFA's puppet on here. Believe me, far from that. You can see that sometimes I criticize referees. Some of them more often than others (for example Moen, Kulbakou), because I really don't like their passive attitude. That's it - we shouldn't look for particular incidents / mistakes only, but try to catch the overall picture of refereeing in particular games. Was the referee accepted? Did he feel the game? Did he choose a good approach? Were his calls not only correct in law but also optimal for the game? How he managed players? etc... Every referee makes mistakes and it would be pointless to pick every mistake and blame referees for that. We should take other aspects into account, too!

I can tell you who I am. I'm a fully disabled man whose only passion is watching football, especially referees. I have no interest in defending them or blaming them. I simply write what I feel.

And believe me, even the comments I post on here are taken as attacks by some referees who are typical braggarts and who can't bear any criticism. I didn't get much positive feedback by all those years, to be honest and I am gradually losing motivation to watch and write about referees.

As you maybe know, I have a Twitter account that is dead now because of many haters, mainly fans of Polish clubs, but also journalists being friends to president of Polish FA. I was also never respected by referees in my country, rather treated like an enemy (everybody who is neutral towards Polish FA, not mentioning critical, is treated like an enemy by them). I would say more about president of Polish FA and many connections but I'm simply afraid of him!

So, I do not benefit from writing comments on here. I do it with a smaller and smaller passion. Smaller and smaller because - it sounds ugly - I have encountered many referees and most of them (not all!!!) are self-satisfied, self-righteous, vain people, not worthy of attention.Euro Soccer Refhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15901062602280003219noreply@blogger.com
