Predictions game continues with MD2.
You have to guess the exact referee for each game by filling in a form. Just insert your name, or, if you want, a nickname (it must be always the same for all your future predictions) and then for each game just select the referee.
Send your predictions here:
*time is over*
The deadline for all games of Matchday 2 will be very likely on 23 November, further accuracy about the exact time will follow soon. The predictions sent after that (official time will be checked) will not be accepted.
Points will be assigned according to the following pattern:
10 points for having guessed the exact referee of a match
5 points if a guessed referee for a game will be appointed as fourth official
3 points if the appointed referee is from the same confederation as the guessed referee
2 points if a referee is appointed in the other game of the group
1 point if a referee is appointed for the same matchday
A special thank to Philipp, who once again is here to help us and he will be responsible for collecting your predictions.
The modules for next rounds will follow in due course.
When's the latest we can enter as tempted to wait for the final MD1 appointment to be announced
ReplyDeleteIt is written in the post, should be 23 November, can't give more details about the exact time for now because we are still waiting how FIFA will manage to publish appointments. It seems as this will happen always two days before the games, but maybe not with a fixed time like UEFA.
DeleteEngland x Iran ( Mustapha ghorbal ) algéria
ReplyDeleteSénégal x hollande ( rapiliini ) argentine
Usa x Wales ( maguette ndaie) Sénégal
With 10 match officials per match, FIFA will use 40 of them on each matchday in the group stage!

ReplyDeleteInteresting scene in yesterday's Ekstraklasa game:
https://streamable.com/ukh9dw
Some questions:
1) is it an offside offence?
2) is the holding enough for VAR intervention?
3) did the holding occur inside or outside penalty area?
4) why VAR suggested the referee what should be the final outcome by showing only offside angles?
5) define the start of APP :D
My predictions not in game order.

I'm only just now realizing that I left out Siebert, and gave Conger a game that will probably go to a European... oh well. In retrospect I'd put Conger on CMR - SRB instead of Barton, and give Siebert something.

Very bad performance, only 19 p. I suggest to release statistics who referees were more predicted. I think for MD1 Faghani (BRA-SRB) is the "winner".
