@Gylfi, if you are reading: do you know what happened with Obrenovic today? He was listed as the ref on the appmnt for Kazma vs. Al-Kuwait, indeed even listed on the television caption, but the referee clearly isn’t him (instead a local non-FIFA official).
ReplyDeleteI guess this must be the reason, also for the game being delayed a bit:

Good research!
DeleteManganiello forgot that the YCs exist tonight. Without Orsato's virtuous example, Doveri's style is starting to rule the roost...

ReplyDeleteMinute 88 Barcelona. Can someone please link a video? DOGSO advantage where it gets downgraded to a yellow card. I want to save the video because it doesn’t happen often.
It seems Alberola Rojas didn't caution the player at all...
Deletehttps://files.fm/u/txx5sujsbr
If he didn’t then he doesn’t know what a DOGSO is. Because he clearly gave an advantage.
DeleteBut thank you for the video. I appreciate it.
DeleteFirst time I read Kornel Paszkiewicz name as Polish VAR in UEFA games, Ekstraklasa referee?
ReplyDeleteNo, he usually handles third tier games but some years ago he was a second tier referee. He has been nominated FIFA-listed VMO for the next season.
DeleteAugustyn was listed for the U17 WWC but never did a game so must have been injured until recently
ReplyDeleteI was wondering what really happened with Riem Hussein in FIFA?
ReplyDeleteI remember she attended to WWC in 2019 and even did a R16 game…Adding that she has a CL on her resume (2021).
Was she totally out of the 2023 pre-selection process? Or she just wasn’t selected? And now for 2027 seems that the same is happening…
Or she just was really poot at her games? Because is strange to me that they didn’t continue a “process” with her…
Wildfeuer has her debut yesterday on CL and Michel did the U-19 Championship final last June, one can say that they are the “future” of German female refereeing, both are too young (31 If i’m not wrong) and obviously they need time and development…
poor*
DeleteRiem Hussein announced her retirement during the UEFA Summer Course in an interview to UEFA ("this is the last physical test of my career"), so this game in Barcelona is a farewell (not given anymore in men's football, once a referee has stated he wants to retire§)§. About how she was managed in recent years, should be all about technical assessments, I think she had an excellent first part of international careeer with Women's CL final and participation to big tournaments, but then disappointing in recent times. Maybe she gave everything in the very past years.
DeleteNow the future is represented by Michel indeed, in development, while more difficult to understand about Wildfeuer, she looks to be a "place holder" (to get Women's CL games), said without offense, after Hussein and before Michel. But then of course, if good perforrmances, everything can happen :)
Oh well I didn’t know that! Thanks chefren ;)
DeleteHussein was rejected by FIFA for the red card she gave in Norway-Australia (2019).
DeleteI was fortunate to benefit $500,000 donation from chan Zuckerberg initiative they made a big difference in my life. If you’re seeking financial assistance contact chan.zuckerberginitiative@dr.com . Don’t give up—opportunities still exist. I’m posting this to because I want the world to know how grateful I am to the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative
