Everyone asleep it seems.
ReplyDeleteNot too much controversy in terms of decisions or fouls.
Goal for Australia, good positioning by the referee on that counter attack by Australia and fitness in his finishing position.
ReplyDeleteA goal now, so the game should open up. More challenges and match will be played at a higher tempo
Not a first half to remember! Good choice from those who are sleeping!
ReplyDeleteValenzuelan has made a positive impression in the first half. He has shown good foul recognition, not buying into Turkish players who go down easily, while still identifying clever fouls when necessary and maintaining good flow in the match. He demonstrates strong presence in situations, both during active play and after the whistle, using a mix of informal and public verbal warnings to players. Overall, he has displayed good movement patterns and a natural leadership style on the field. It is encouraging to see this performance following Martinez’s display yesterday.
ReplyDeleteAgree, my only comment to add here is that this match difficulty hasn’t been high. At this stage medium to low, as the desperation increases from the Turkiye team then it might change as the second half progresses
DeleteAgree
DeleteClear yc missed
ReplyDeleteThat was my feeling. Minimum strong warning at the least, I would have thought YC would have been accepted by all. I’ll be honest, it’s probably the first time during the match sanctions to be used
DeleteThe situation is really borderline, but the player has not yet built up full speed. However, he has control of the ball, a clear direction toward goal, and space to advance in a 2-vs-3 situation just outside the penalty area, so the attacking potential is high.
DeleteThe player in yellow only goes in to stop the ball carrier, so a caution for a tactical foul would have been the perfect decision here
Just to add, it was the first type of situation in the match.
DeleteCorrect foul for turkey min 55
ReplyDeleteNpk excellent desicion hand in natural position
ReplyDeleteEasy decision but you can only call and referee the decisions/match in front of you
DeleteWhat do you mean?
DeleteIn terms of a handball call, I don’t think it was a tough or difficult decision.
DeleteYou must referee the match you are assigned, even if it isn’t the most difficult match of the tournament thus far.
Correct no-call for handball when Turkey takes a shot inside the attacking penalty area. The distance is very short, the defender's arm is in a natural position, and the ball arrives unexpectedly. The arm does not make the body unnaturally bigger, and there is no deliberate movement toward the ball. Therefore, play should be allowed to continue.
ReplyDelete83:30 Incorrect flag by AR2, resulting in a free kick for Turkey. The referee is well positioned with a clear line of sight and is in the best position to judge the challenge. In this situation, the assistant referee should avoid intervening and allow the referee to make the decision.
ReplyDeleteAgree. I think he made an earlier intervention and maybe got carried away
Delete86’ Reckless against Turkiye. Easy call
ReplyDeleteYes, correct YC
ReplyDelete85:20 – Correct yellow card. The Turkish player stops a promising attack with a tactical foul and prevents the opponents from moving forward.
ReplyDelete90+6 Ar2 flags foul…. Not given by Ref. 😀😀😀
ReplyDeletegood refereeing in easy match
