Italy - Poland (8.3)
Four key match incidents.
Correctly disallowed Italy's equalizer (44'), unnecessary VAR gesture after the offside call had been confirmed
- Two tricky Italy's shouts for penalties rejected (01 - 02) - it was visible Italian players wanted to win those penalties, so correct from VAR (Letexier, Buquet) to confirm both play-on calls
Only YC given for ITA-08's studs-challenge that could be deemed as SFP (86', full studs contact, high hitting point) but there were also argument against RC (ITA player was following the ball, didn't see his opponent, the contact with leg that was not standing one) and due to that one can understand the lack of VAR intervention here.

At least one YC for SPA missed (01 - 02 - 03)

Denmark - Serbia (7.0)

Horror-incident in 57' - too quick whistle for (wrong (AR2)) offside when ball was going into an empty net. The goal should've stood but it was impossible to correct the call, therefore it was an unnecessary VAR intervention by Guida and Fabbri. During the OFR, Serbian coach was looking at the monitor staying very close to Kulbakou, ref's reaction was not firm enough.

Another too quick whistle for offside after very doubtful advantage played in 80', the goal was almost scored...

Two-footed tackle of SRB-18 (90'). Only YC given. Clear SFP - excessive force! Missing VAR intervention

Missed two caution offences in 8' (reckless stamp, off-the ball SPA)

AR2 didn't spot a reckless stamp in front of him (46')

Huge deficiencies in operating with VAR.

Overall: calm, empathic presence, sometimes too central positioning, too far from action, NOT READY TO HANDLE GAMES WITH VAR IN USE!!!
