Rightly disallowed goal for offside in 5'. Good delayed call.
Handball penalty incident. Rather correct play-on call. Player was not aware of where exactly the ball is.
Assessment of handball blocking a shot on goal - correct FK and YC?
All cards given were correct but too lenient in some above mentioned cases when at least stern warning should've been issued.
Austria - Germany (8.2)
Missed advantage in what would've been an obvious goal scoring opportunity for Germany with the result being 1-1.
Very alert in first 15 minutes, all cards given correct but again not 100% clear disciplinary line, one or two YCs to Austrian players would've been optimal. Some calls irritated both sets of players, difficult to say whether it was evitable but having a more friendly approach could have helped to calm down the atmosphere a bit. Not a players' friend type of referee. He should work on verbal communication with players.
Overall: very fit, perfect style of running, adjusting position to play, very nice presence when dealing with players, lacks in communication with players (strict warnings are perfect but sometimes you need to just talk WITH player what was missing in his performances and led to players getting angry after some calls).
