Filip Glova, Armenia - Italy

In an easy game without specific challenges Filip Glova was able to keep a good control and stayed relatively in the background. He chose a smart line between foul and no foul, applying advantage when required (43’, 63’). and had an overall sensible disciplinary control.

His communication was satisfactory, although in a few situations he could have shown his presence better and more in order to prevent possible confrontations, which luckily did not occur.

Crucially, he spotted a handball after a goal by Italy. This was the only critical assessment he had to face in the game.

Another handball by Italy was missed at 35’ (not easy to detect given the close distance between the players, but he was well positioned).

(+) 19’ correct YC ARM #7
(+) 35’ good prevention before FK
(-) 35’ missed handball by Italy (slow down the video at the beginning)

(+) 58’ well spotted handball by the attacker
(+) 61’ correct YC ITA #12
(+) 85’ correct YC ARM #6
(+) 87’ correct YC ARM #21

To sum it up, a positive performance for the Slovak in an easy going game. In case of a good second game, he might even be an option for a semifinal.
