    1. My thoughts are: Cakir or Kuipers
Very crucial match, especially with Atletico Madrid style of the game (bus parking) too many episodes will be at the penalty area

    2. Don't forget Makkelie, option for both games on Wednesday, in my opinion.

    3. Makkelie had Liverpool match at MD6)

    4. Without any problems and a victory for Liverpool. So it's possible. We will see.

  4. A strong referee for sure. Will be a very tough match. Cakir, Kuipers, Makkelie, Skomina.

  5. Skomina will be tomorrow, after has a good match in PLTS yesterday👌

  6. I prefer Skomina on Anfield!!!

  7. Interesting appointment for Hategan, rather low-profile game under the eyes of Fandel. Might be an observation towards a EL final?

  8. What is the situation in Seria A? All matches to be postponed?

    1. The situation is not even clear for themselves who have to decide what to do: indeed after a very long discussion and a hint of possible total suspension for at least a month, they have decided to play today's games. Parma - SPAL, planned at 12:30, has started at 13:45. We will see for the other games planned for today. This evening big match Juventus - Inter.
My feeling is that after today (it is a part of a matchday with some games already played in past) there will be a stop. The situation is too much uncertain but before that, nobody knows what really to do. Never seen something like that.

    2. It`s really shocking and unaccaptable situation, Chefren:(
If it is stopped, what will be with Serie A tournament? When it will be played?
P.S. The lives and health of people is the most important thing in the world, but italian functionaries should think how to solve this problem!

    3. The health crisis in North of Italy is very critical; I have a dear friend working as specialist doctor in an hospital close to Milan. She lives in the hospital since 27th of February day and night to assist critical cases. More than 500 people need intensive therapy and special treatments and are really struggling between life and death. I think that Serie A will be stopped until the situation will not be stabilized

    4. And how should functionaries "solve" this? There is a hierarchy of values and even if e.g. the whole season gets cancelled, so what? It won't be the end of the world, human lifes are at stake here!

    5. In the Bundesliga, there will be no spectators on the next 2 matchdays due to corona virus.

    2. Maybe Marciniak in EL as replacement for Italian referee?

      Delete
    3. Marciniak&Gil could even be a planned appointment for EL, because VARs can be appointed on Tuesday and Thursday.
And for Sevilla-Roma Gil could even stay in Spain...

  12. Knvb announced Makkelie for Liverpool-Atletico. Great choice IMO by committee.

  13. 2' penalty to Atalanta, correct decision by Hategan.

  14. Correct penalty to Atalanta by Hategan

  15. Disallowed goal in Leipzig, correct decision by AR2.

  16. 41' OFR for Hategan. Penalty for deliberate handball. Clear situation. Correct intervention by VAR.

  17. Hategan's chances for EL final seem to be over. Missed penalty and not punished reckless use of arm that caused ATA player's injury. Weak evening for the Romanian.

    1. Weak? Are we watching the same game? He got penalty after OFR which is correct in the end.

    2. I agree with Mlacko, are watching the same match anonymous? Regarding Hategan's chances for EL final, with all due respect for him, I dont rhink he was ever a candidate for EL season this final. There are several referees who should be considered for this season finals before Hategan: Lahoz, Turpin, Orsato, Marciniak, Makkelie.

    3. It's still assessed as crucial mistake of referee in UEFA.

      Delete
    4. I don't think so, that Hategan is candidate for EL. Maybe for the Supercup, why not? Also, remember Skomina in Paris with a crucial decision and he got a final.

  18. Hategan allowed a player to re-enter the field of play when an attack from the opposing team was taking place nearby…
