  3. Polish commentator said he talked with people from UEFA and VAR could be implemented starting from knock-out stage this season!

  6. I appreciated the decision to play on by Marciniak, a few seconds before YC to Asensio. Player from Real Madrid looked for the contact at the edge of penalty area, maybe not a 100% simulation, but referee had all the reasons to play on. In these situations, almost all referees tend always to whistle.

  7. Now correct YC to Asensio, maybe missed booking moments earlier to Isco for simulation?

  8. Expected level in a very calm first half, with one missed YC and another correct one.

    1. Agreed. Good positioning and therefore full visual perception of the incident.

    1. Very difficult to assessment whether he could avoid a contact

    2. Difficult live but clear on replay especially clear since it’s Costa vs Ramos. Costa knew exactly what he did.

  14. Good, expected level. The importance of Marciniak's ability to get in contact with key players cannot be overstated.

  16. Good start of new UEFA season with an expected level performance by Marciniak. Game was maybe not so challenging as one could have expected, but still I think we saw good skills by Marciniak. He had to recover after a poor period. I think so far we can say he did that.
Mark can be 8.3, considering the missed YC, but maybe all the rest can play even in favor of 8.4 in any case.
