I imagine we will be seeing all 3 in the conference league in the coming season
ReplyDeleteWell, there is a "problem" about Saggi, it's in reality a very strange appointment for a referee who already got his CL debut, and officiated 3 games overall so far, this was on 2024/25 season. Then, nothing for him this year, with a loss of focus by committee.
DeleteEither they wanted a more experienced referee for this year final, or the consideration for him is now different than a couple of season ago.
Personally I watched him in some games1 year and half ago, it was rather OK, but clear need of development.
It will be interesting to see barrotts progression considering his remarkable rise in recent years
Deletegot promoted to sg2 in 23/24 and got appointed to 15 PL games which I have never seen for an sg2 referee.
Got promoted to sg1 at the start of 24/25 and I think was made a FIFA referee at the start of 25/26

DeleteOn Barrott, he looks like the future number one in England, the talent is there and perhaps with this exciting run of form he can even be at least a 4th official at the home tournament in Euros 2028
