Quite fast VAR check, goal cancelled due to a foul in the APP. Correct call imo

DeleteI don't mind this and again hope that Zwayer doesn't get marked down here. Asking for high bar for fouls, so doesn't give it but then leads to goal.

Tough one. English commentators and press not happy with this decision, feels very soft. However, I think accidental upper contact like this is viewed rather differently in England to elsewhere. So I'll say probably correct, but not sure I like it!

ReplyDeleteYes, good to se a strong performance after what happened in his previous match. Both teams with it all on the line you'd expect nothing less
DeleteOFR after goal for CDR and it is disallaowed. Correct intervention by VAR, but I think foul should have been spotted live. Zwayer doesn't help himself to go deep into the tournament

ReplyDeleteFor me, good start to the second half from the Zwayer team. Good control of the match and still keeping Collina happy. As DR Congo go for the win, it will turn into a very intense game.

Agreed, all in all a round performance so far IMHO. I’m not that bothered by the OFR to cancel the goal. And now correctly awarded a penalty to Congo, good spot!
