    Sadly the serious decisive mistake of Mr Fuxman in RFS-HJK. Penalty denied for RFS in the final minute, who went ahead to lose in the penalty shotout.

    Fuxman in RFS-HJK with couple handball situations. The decisions went against the home team which caused lot of dissent. Any thoughts?

      One can't say anything without clear replays, in the first case I think it can be borderline, because ball touched other part of body before, second case, if directly handball, should be punishable but very difficult to say...

      19' I would support the decision, penalty can be given, but to me never a clear foul by keeper on attacker. The latter seems to use a certain malice to make a movement in order to find a contact, play on seems to be acceptable for this reason. To say it in other words, you don't have the perception that it is keeper to go against attacker missing ball, but rather a mutual collision. I would be quite sure no VAR intervention for this case.

      87' Possible RC for SFP, but it must be given by referee in case, given the point of contact and low tackle, YC is OK, but RC not a clear and obvious mistake mostly for the force used by player.

      19: should be a penalty + RC for DOGSO, I think the holding by defender is decisive in the attacker not being able to go round the goalkeeper and score.

      87: excessive force.

      Calls which in yesteryear which would distinguish the good referees from the great ones (courage to take brave and unpopular decisions), especially in such an atmosphere. Nowadays it is better to 'keep your head down' and decide as-uncontroversially-as-possible, like Soto Grado did both times here. It's a shame IMO.

      I have to say that I'm agree with Mikael W. It's true that contact from defender it's not to much,we all can agree that it is a slight contact but it's totally different a slight contact when you are challenging the opponent for the ball and when you try to stop the opponent by pushing or holding with no chance to play the ball. Penalty would fit better then play on for me

      Thank god we’re not living in yesteryear anymore, where bravery and courage apparently defined the best referees (and matches being decided by showmen being ‘brave’ and ‘courageous’).
      Very good Yc awarded for a late reckless tackle!

    “My question is that“ if a player removes his shirt after the last penalty shoot-out for celebration should it be punished by yellow card ?”

    MARK : 7.4 (referee was not strong enough and good for this match. He should’ve read the game better from the beginning until the end.He made 2 crucial mistakes beside some missing yellow cards. I agree the match was very difficult but control was not enough and he is not ready for these kinds of matches.)

    Match Description :

    Normal game,not so many difficult situations for the referee. He did well with good control and management.

    Good first half made by Fabbri. He was in total control in a low difficulty game. But I am not sure about the cancelled goal for offside, I will have to see a replay once again.

    Poor performance from Nobre in Dinamo Batumi - Slovan Bratislava.
    Missed at least 1 penalty for Batumi and Batumi goal from the first minutes of the game was clearly onside not offside

      good control of the game, great movement on the pitch and fittnes, missed 2 YC but overall I think it was quite convincing from the 34-year old Slovakian
