  1. It is very strange to see again Dallas as observer only in Youth League in his country. Very limited work after the role he had in committee.
About the rest, Damato will go to Madrid just for the game because there is another observer (Riley) for the CL match. Should be something related to Talents and Mentors with Papapetrou.
Then again I want to underline no German observer for the games to be played in Germany, they seem to be all always busy, but in a more general context, if we compare these assignments with the previous seasons of Youth League group stages, we see less observers from home country. In this set we have only Dallas and Shteif. Maybe UEFA is trying to avoid that more than before.
Luca Pairetto with his second YL GS assignment, extremely rare for an Italian FIFA referee, indeed he can't get definitely more than that and his badge is already at risk. We can maybe make a comparison with Fabbri in his early years as FIFA referee, he was in a similar situation like Pairetto (too many poor performances for a long time), but he didn't get all these youth assignments...

    1. Maybe a deliberate choice by Dallas to avoid travelling through Europe?

  2. OT:

Watching Reims-Psg game, very challenging game for Gaillouste, but he for sure did not help with his poor management skills IMO.

First of all,for every major decision was taking too long to make the decision, whether it's to show YC/RC,whistle for a foul, just taking too long to make the decision.

2nd of all,RC for Ramos is probably justified,Ramos probably said too much, but again, poorly managed situation that iritated PSG players and set the tone for the rest of the game.

3rd,then Neymar comes in and it is a completely different match.

Opposition players were only looking to kick him as many times as they can and they succeded at that.
I have noticed that this is one of the biggest problems in French Ligue, how to manage Neymar situation.
Yes,sometime he can act good, he provokes, but the way opposition players are kicking him and fouling him is brutal,no wonder he loses his cool every match.
But let's get back to Gaillouste.

He had IMO great decision to calm Neymar and player who was fouling him,he stopped the play, talked to them and got them to calm down, without any booking.

But in the end,big flaming point, rough foul on Neymar and it all escalated so quickly.
Yellow cards were given ,maybe some reds were missed. Then ref positioned free kick so far out of position and after that, one minute later another ugly scenes.

Dont know how to rate his performance,I would say mediocre.
