2019/20 UEFA Pre-season Preparation Course for Top Referees - List of participants

This summer the pre-season preparation course for UEFA top referees will take place in Zagreb, Croatia from 31/07 to 02/08. We are pleased to provide you the list of participants.

Referee appointments for 2019-20 Champions League Second Qualifying Round, second legs.

Irfan Peljto (BIH) appointed for 2019 UEFA Under-19 Championship Final

The 35 years old from Bosnia has been appointed to officiate the final of 2019 UEFA Under-19 Championship, Portugal - Spain. The game will be played on 27 July in Yerevan, Armenia.

Ivana Projkovska (MKD) will officiate 2019 UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship Final

She will be assisted by Karolin Kaivoja from Estonia and Alexandra Theodora Petrea from Romania. To complete the officiating crew, Slovakian Zuzana Valentová will work as fourth official. They will be observed by Dagmar Damková, member of UEFA Referees Committee.

Alioum (CMR) appointed for AFCON 2019 Final

A trio from Cameroon headed by referee Alioum has been appointed to oversee the final of AFCON 2019. The match will be played between Senegal and Algeria on 19 July 2019.

AFCON 2019 - Gehad Grisha (EGY) in charge of Third Place Game

The referee from home-country, after having been allowed to officiate at this tournament following an appeal against his suspension, will oversee the third place game between Tunisia and Nigeria.

UEFA Under-21 EURO Review

UEFA's most prestigious youth competition took place this summer in Italy and San Marino, giving some of Europe's most talented young players a chance to shine and a further step in their careers.

This could easily be analogised to each of the nine referee trios and seven VAR duos whom UEFA appointed to officiate the twenty-one matches taking place over the place of a hectical fortnight in sometimes searing hot conditions.

As we can be used to in this competition since many editions, besides one or the other exception, the competition was well refereed by some of Europe's most promising future Elite referees.

In cooperation with our user Mhmd S. AlKhalifi we would like to present a detailed analysis of the refereeing at Under-21 EURO 2019.
