    1. I want to thank Dr Emu a very powerful spell caster who help me to bring my husband back to me, few month ago i have a serious problem with my husband, to the extend that he left the house, and he started dating another woman and he stayed with the woman, i tried all i can to bring him back, but all my effort was useless until the day my friend came to my house and i told her every thing that had happened between me and my husband, then she told me of a powerful spell caster who help her when she was in the same problem I then contact Dr Emu and told him every thing and he told me not to worry my self again that my husband will come back to me after he has cast a spell on him, i thought it was a joke, after he had finish casting the spell, he told me that he had just finish casting the spell, to my greatest surprise within 48 hours, my husband really came back begging me to forgive him, if you need his help you can contact him with via email: Emutemple@gmail.com or add him up on his whatsapp +2347012841542 is willing to help any body that need his help.

  2. @Markoo - that's a very big game for Gergő Bogár, new FIFA for 2020, do you think he can reach much on an international level?

  3. PORTUGAL - BREAKING NEWS

    Vitória de Guimarães - Moreirense

At 60' the AR2 (Nuno Eiras) suffered a serious injury during a move which forced his forced replacement by FO (Sérgio Guelho - 2nd Category - Elite of Portuguese Federation of Referee's).

  4. A couple of clips from Slavko Vinčić's return in the Aluminij Kidričevo - Tabor Sežana game on Wednesday.

68' Careless or reckless foul by Tabor no.5 on Aluminij no.9? No sanction given. Careless, reckless or Serious Foul Play (revenge) foul by ALU no.9 on TAB no.5? Yellow Card given. Sanction needed for the coach?
74' Yellow Card (dissent) vs. Red Card (violent conduct) by Aluminij no.6? Yellow Card given

Maybe some (Slovenian) readers can corroborate this, but the rest of the game seemed boring and unremarkable for Vinčić.

    1. 68' YC for N5 Tabor. Reckless, IMO. Correct YC to N9 Aluminij. YC also needed for Tabor coach.
      74' YC is correct, IMO.

      Delete
    2. Apologies - caution in the first clip is for Aluminij no.26, not no.9 as I said. Not the best few days for me in terms of reading shirt numbers :).

      Delete
    3. 68' #5 - clearly reckless - YC missed. #9 - correct YC, IMO. Tabor coach - RC missed (from LotG Law 12 (3. Disciplinary action) - TEAM OFFICIALS (...) Sending-off offences include (but are not limited to): (...)
=> deliberately leaving the technical area to:
==> show dissent towards, or remonstrate with, a match official
==>act in a provocative or inflammatory manner
      .)
      74' YC definitely correct.

  6. Sevilla vs Barcelona

45+2 mass confrontation started by Messi who pushed Sevilla's player.
Busquets and Fernando had their own argument and they were both booked, while Messi got nothing.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. I have missed Busquet's booking, I have only had Fernando's booking. IMO, not the best management by González González, IMO unacceptable that Messi is not even warned here. To be honest, even though Diego Carlos exaggerates his fall, Messi's push is enough for me to be assessed as violent conduct and Red Card. I was not surprised of a VAR non-intervention either: to be honest, if VAR intervened there (or such situations overall), imagine the medial reception of this...

Second half will be interesting for González González. IMO, he was okay until that confrontation during added time.

  7. Premier League
Kevin Friend (Norwich vs Southampton)- Nothing to discuss, easy game to referee in all fairness with 2 correct YC's.
Jon Moss (Spurs vs Man Utd) - 1st half, missed YC to Lamela. 2nd half- 80' Soft penalty to Man utd confirmed by VAR, for me the right decision as it could have went either way. 90' wrong penalty decision given to Man Utd this time which was correctly overturned by VAR. Overall, Jon Moss was less than convincing with some strange decisions given including the penalty given at the end. VAR intervened correctly and for once had a good day in the Premier League unlike the shambles in the Aston Villa Sheffield Utd game.

  8. Last night performance of Jose Luis Gonzalez will lead him to Copa del Rey final.

  9. The two interesting in-box situations from the Tottenham - Manchester United game yesterday evening, handled by Jonathan Moss [VAR: Graham Scott].

80' Penalty given (tripping / charging)
90' Penalty given (tripping) but changed to dropped ball after VAR intervention

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. 80' Correct penalty (charging), IMO; correct no VAR intervention, of course.
90' Of course, no penalty is the correct decision; correct VAR intervention, of course.

  13. The great performance of Fuertes tonight with one clear mistake. That was no free kick situation in first half. If somebody mention that he can be removed, it is clear that Gonzalez due to age, and Melero due to inconsistent performances in La Liga will be removed. Interesting situation was Pablo's smile at the end of game.

  18. Two days ago, Valencia CF released a statement on how VAR made several decisions against them throughout the season:
    https://www.valenciacf.com/en/article/en-valencia-cf-and-var-in-2019-20-2020-06-19

Today, a seemingly correct goal scored by Rodrigo is judged by VAR Melero Lopez as offside:

    1. I can't say if it is offside or not, but I notice two things: that line seems to have been drawn from the elbow and not from the shoulder (although it is too far to be 100% sure, but IIRC VAR has zoom), and the frozen frame from the TV is not the same as the one from the image used, in which the ball is already moving and is difficult to determine whether the player is still touching it.

However, if the line is really drawn from the elbow as it seems, it should be the final mistake for Melero López in LaLiga, given that the other candidates are performing better, IMO.

    2. https://imgur.com/2J9eiDc

Before the goal, there is another situation to assess and if the attacker is in offisde (it seems so), he is surely active (obsturcting line of vision). So after the first assessment, there should be in case a second one. However I share the doubts about the previous offside, attacker looked onside.

      Delete
    3. Also, it is possible that maybe VAR correctly assessed the second offside as punishable but then there was a mistake by operator in showing the wrong situation to TV?

      Delete
    4. Well, I disagree about the second situation. In further replays you can see the keeper is still tracking the ball and after the kick the player is not on the ball's path and doesn't have to take evasive action to avoid being hit, so IMO he is not active.

That could be debatable, but what you ask is not, as far as I know, possible. The image with the line is tagged as "VAR" because it comes directly from the VAR room. In that image, with that line, the attacker is in offside position, so I doubt they actually checked the second incident or, if they did, they decided to send to the TV broadcaster that image which has increased the anger in Valencia's fans.

      Delete
    5. Definitely correct decision to disallow the goal (even if the 1st situation was onside, the second was offside and obstructing the GK's line of vision). As Chefren suggested, it may be that the wrong image was shown, or a 2nd possible explanation - the VAR 'superficially' checked the 1st situation because he had an expectation that the 2nd situation is more likely to result in a changed decision than the 1st one, and therefore proceeded to check the 2nd situation. If it's the 2nd explanation, that would be bad practice. But in the end - correct decision; can't blame the VAR for anything as long as we don't get any more information.

    1. These are interesting, even though I have no idea of what is being told.

One question, I presume that you're from Belarus. These shows seem to be fair and provide good discussions. Do you think they help "the public" understand refereeing decisions and how the thought process of referees is?

I think shows like this should be more frequent around the world. I really think they help "others" see us as humans ;)

    2. Hello Anonymous,

Allow me to answer a few things.

      1. If you want to watch these videos and understand them. You can turn on the captions and have them translated into English, for some inexplicable reason this is unavailable on the latest episode, but is available on every other episode.

      2. I am not actually from Belarus, I am Canadian. I watched the league over lock-down and thoroughly enjoyed it so as such, I continue to watch it.

      3. I believe that these videos are the first step. However I believe that there is a deeper seeded problem among many (but not all fans) that will forever be an impediment to bridging the gap between referees and the soccer community. These videos are great for reasonable fans who are willing to listen and learn. However I find that, especially in the MLS, where I used to watch my soccer prior to COVID, there is an abundance of fans who are ignorant and ornery. PRO (Professional Referees Organization) posted weekly videos reviewing decisions made by VAR, the reasonable fans loved them, but you still always got the fans who posted about how referees should be sacked, and how referees are blind and other tired tropes. This in my opinion stems from a certain culture in soccer in which referees are always the enemy, no matter what, and this culture will take years and years to change, and I think something that could help is focusing more on the human aspect of referees. (Discussing their personal lives on broadcasts, allowing interviews with them at halftime and after the match like with players, all these things will help IMO.)

Not sure but I think yes because I suppose that there was an relatively big chance that otherwise he would have been appointed in the previous or this matchday in order to gain some practice after the COVID-19 pandemic when no matches were played (he's also not appointed to tommorow's FK Liepāja - Riga FC - I think that he would have gotten that game because the current leaders (after only 2 matchdays but Liepāja is always fighting for the UCL and UEL spots) and the previous season's champions meet there) as he's obviously the most important referee for Latvia's football.
