  4. Mostly, referees from Under 19 continuing their path with important observers.
Then, about the rest, if we compare Cuadra with Chiffi, Category 2 officials from big countries, we should say that the Italian has definitely a good chance with the observer, while for the Spanish seems just a normal assignment...
The focus on Saggi continues and the Belgian with the Swiss seem to be both followed as well.

    1. Jablonski, Frid and Bogár are really favourised. As you can say it's fair regarding the German, one can wonder what UEFA see in the other two. The same favouritism is not applied to Jaanovits who is very talented from what I saw during the last U19 EURO. The Estonian is sent to Luxembourg to oversee Differdange - Maribor... Why such difference in treatment?

      Delete
    2. It didn’t make sense sent Istvan Vad to Swiss after his demotion and sent Jaanovits to low profile match. Istvan Vad after SCO-GEO still get another “big match”, I don’t know why he demoted, how about Berke who replaced him, where will he go?

      Delete
    3. Yeah, it's very weird seeing Vad getting basically the same appointments as before despite being demoted. Just says something about how little UEFA really cares about this categorization

    4. @ESR , Jablonski and Frid did a great Final and Semi Final, In my opinion they deserved it

    1. I'd highlight the cautious appointments for the Besiktas-Tirana tie, but the reasons for these choices are fully understandable.

    2. PAOK-Beitar could also be a very tough tie so good luck to Balakin and Millot as well

      Delete
    3. I don't understand why you appointed Icelandic referee to lead a match in Kazakhstan, really non-sense, same as Nyberg last appointment in Kazakhstan.

      Delete
    4. Also Israeli goes far away to Torshavn

    5. strange to see Berke and Vad appointment, the catagorization is nonsense at all now, I think UEFA need to recategorize again in January.

  10. Pfffffff......Rosetti... Wake Up Man! are you gonna put 2 times a Greek referee in the first and second match... shame on you! so many choices....

    3. The referee in Vilnius was Luís Godinho (POR) and he also had a very good game.

    4. Yes, indeed I confused the referees as the matches were played at the same time.

  14. Challenging game for Fähndrich in Częstochowa. Many duels, fouls and hot moments. Interesting incident in 26' - (very) possible RC for SFP and I think missing cooperation with VAR and restart allowed too quickly. Overall, he didn't allow any case of undermining his authority and it worked well. Highlights tomorrow.

    3. Clear RC for SFP, these gestures of calming down players don't work. You see the Swiss referee coming from a very different background than the game in question...

  15. Ludogorets - Olimpija, 90+3, how could this not be a red card (at least 2x yellow in the same situation) for Olimpija # 3 - first reckless foul, then headbutting.
