ReplyDeleteJust some observations: Sozza is having a disappointing season, by far below the standard.This assignment reflects the domestic moment, this one in Turkey can be considered a very rare assignment in terms of low quality for an Italian Cat. 1 referee. Believe me, in past it would have been impossible to think that he would have been stuck with no progress. However, at least a good observer, Lannoy. Maybe he will find again something good close to the end of this season. Meanwhile, Colombo, direct competitor about to surpass him (very good season and development) had his EL group stage debut but it's early to think about a KO stage in Conference League.
Godinho after a rather not good moment after his CL debut, gets Conference League, he could have got more, but I think he has still time to reach some important goals in his career (but to me, it's not a real talent).
Jovanovic in Florence, the path of the Serbian referee over the years has been absolutely unpredictable, very often without a real fault, but the hope is that he can find a rather good moment with regular assignments. Very good, on the contrary, for the other Serbian in Lausanne, to be at this level with a game.
Sylwestrzak, the Polish talent, in Slovenia. That's not a case, as we can point out, very often key referees, especially the ones in development, are sent to teams that can be followed easily than others by committee members... despite of the official observer appointed for the game. Very good for Sylwestrzak.
