Mr. Bramis as i checked, Skoulas was appointed in 27th, 28th and 29th matchdays in Greek Superleague as referee, having very good performances. I agree that Diamandopoulos is the best newcommer referee (better than Skoulas and Tzilos). Please don't lie again against Greek Referees if you don't have valid information.Thank you

    2. My bad, I wrote this comment by memory, I didn't research. I only remembered that he was absent for almost 2 months untill he got appointed for the playout 2nd leg of OFI - Asteras Tripoli.

  2. Indeed I can confirm that.He was appointed in several matchdays and in very important matches as OFI-ASTERAS TRIPOLIS (important match for relegation)...It is really pathetic to listen Greek people spreading fake news about copatriots...Maybe that’s a reason that Greek football is always under consiracy theories...

    1. well done anonymous..Some greeks hate the fact that Sidiropoulos is still an elite ref. There is no spirit of togetherness amongst greek people...

    2. We hate the way greek teams and media treat greek referees ( yes ofcourse they make mistakes). Bringing foreign referees indeed calmed things down, even the players, but this decision is against the improvement of greek refs.

    3. I completely agree..But how would greek referees develop their skills in such an unhealthy environment? If greek refs were involved in the crucial league matches this year the league would have been abandoned. But your comment is absolutely spot on..

    4. When a Ref Comm brings concedes and brings in foreign referee's. That makes it seem as if the local referee's are indeed below par and the teams were right all along.

Tasos Sidoropoulos hasn't taken advantage when he gotten opportunities in European competitions. In recent memory, he's yet to have a convincing performance. This the reason why he's become a fixture on the sidelines as a 4th Official.

  3. we have to wait a few days for the new lists, but I believe bringing foreign refs due to teams' vetoes is not going to improve the situation drastically, it is just damage control. So the question is what do we want for the future of greek refereeing? Continue this situation or fix the problem from its root by all means?

    1. How do you think this problem will be fixed when there is a vital word (Meritocracy) missing from Greek refereeing?
