  1. Quite normal four appointments for Thursday.

I think, the following six referees would be the obvious choices for the 2nd legs:
Kovacs, Letexier, Marciniak, Mariani, Peljto, Zwayer

If one or more of those will be planned directly for a final, further options would be:
    Kruzliak, Pinheiro, Siebert

And I guess, Makkelie could also appear, but his status seems quite unclear at the moment.

    1. No it's correct. He is referee in England since 2021 but he was born in Australia, being a referee there till 2019, and still has the australian flag at his name when he whistles the matches in the premier league

  3. As for final appointments, one should also consider which top elite referees have been observed by committee members (let's say) this year.

  4. Very busy opening at Real Betis. 5' YC after advantage then a goal given after VAR intervention (ball over line). Has there been a tech failure or is there no goal line technology? Yet to see any conclusive evidence and no alert on the watch

    1. I agree, the evidence shown is not conclusive.

    2. Indeed, maybe I missed something, but no GLT in Conference League semifinal? There wasn't any advice. I think goal confirmed by VAR only because no contrary evidence, but at this level?

    3. Ah, original decision was NO GOAL, so GOAL decision was made by VAR. Well, absolutely no evidence about that.
To be honest, I don't understand.

    4. Now great advantage at 2:0 and a very rare YC for LoR holding afterwards.

    5. Many very good advantages since too. An excellent game for Oliver, been on top form. Only question mark is the first goal, but hopefully we can trust the VAR had better evidence

    6. Challenging, very physical game for Oliver. He could be proud he survived and took big decisions right. Excellent advantage use through the whole game. Fiorentina players often with bad attitude, mobbing the referee several times.
