    2. Interesting, thanks for Faghani, that can be, do you have the list with my predictions pinned, if yes - good to post it here.

    3. I can create code to calculate and score the selections but I cannot figure out how to upload a picture to this post. I can assure you that Soham's explanation is correct (in this case ;).

    4. Not possible? You are probably talking about mine picture, otherwise i doubt to be hard to put a link with reviewed picture. Good then!

  3. I break my silence and post the link to the interview with Szymon Marciniak. He firmly denies the rumors that he ignored VAR. In both games his decisions were confirmed by Geiger and Turpin respectively.

    1. If you would translate it to us, Ray... At least the most important things from the news/interview.
Well, that can explain why Turpin is sent home (and I believe Geiger is on his way over Atlantic).

    2. I used google translater. Not the best option, of course, but I could understand almost everything. Interesting interview, throws the new light on VAR and options that ref has. I just don't know whether it is completely truth.

    3. Welcome back, RayHD.
It is for sure a pleasure to read you again on the blog.
About the interview, I used google translator as well, I have doubts about the fact that VAR had assessed that situation as supportable decision to play on, I must be honest there.

    4. One big problem is that Marciniak talks way too much than he is needed to... What is the requirement of talking about everything to the media? The bosses in FIFA and UEFA don't really appreciate that... Coming to him being sent home, maybe he didn't ignore VAR but then whatever he had to over in both his games has been assessed as not good enough... He missed a clear, stonewall penalty which affected the outcome of the match and for that he is sent home... To be really honest, I don't trust his words as after that game Turpin got another appointment as VAR, one appointment as 4O and one as main referee... I don't think Marciniak's words can be trusted blindly here, I've many doubts!

    5. That is more doubtful, because if he is lying, that will almost sure sent him of the european competitions forever plus he is not too old.

  4. And what about your final predictions for the final game.

Cakir is strong candidate for final i think. And when he is ignored to VAR and decided truely he came closer to the final
