  1. Switched games between Frankowski and Lopes Martins. The reason is that in case of Legia Warszawa's advance (unlikely after first leg result but still...) their opponent in the third qualifying round would be a team from FK Sūduva vs FK Crvena zvezda that Frankowski was planned to handle.

  3. Completely OT, but maybe nice to know for some of you. The Dutch KNVB has opened their so-called 'Replay Center' yesterday, from which at max 5 simultaneous Eredivisie matches will be officiated by VARs. The Replay Center is located at the KNVB offices, so just as with the recent WC 2018 VARs will operate from a central location and not anymore in a van outside the stadium (which was the case before). Each Eredivisie match will have a VAR and an AVAR. There are 6 rooms in the Replay Center, of which one functions as backup. Some photos: https://www.knvb.nl/nieuws/themas/arbitrage-20/49356/zo-ziet-het-arag-knvb-replay-center-eruit
The article is not so interesting, apart from the fact that the KNVB will extensively study how to optimally communicate VAR decisions inside the stadium and to viewers at home.

  7. Basel - PAOK

45+2'. IMO a missed penalty by Valeri for a blocking on an opponent.

37' a weird management of the scene and a consequence of his missed prevention regarding holdings on corner-kicks. IMO, he should have shown at least a YC to the PAOK defender. Also possible foul? before 0-1.

3 correct cautions but 1 missed to Pelkas around 20'.

    1. It would be very appreciated to have some videos of these incidents, I'm interested in Valeri's performance...

    2. 2 more incidents on min 57-58. First a back pass by a PAOK defender (deliberate?) and a few seconds later a fall inside PAOK's penalty area. Not clear scene since there wasn't a replay. Valeri waived play-on on both scenes.

I will try for some videos, Chefren.

  8. Challenging game for Schüttengrüber tonight. IMO a completely wrong second yellow card for diving in the 40th minute which clearly influenced the outcome of the game...

    2. Well for me just play on, it is really too hard (and wrong in my opinion) to give a second yellow for that...

  9. I saw Martinez Munuera and didnt like his performance. He didnt have to make any crucial decisions but lacked authority and didnt have good acceptance by the players and coaches at all. Similar impression i had about Letexier yesterday also

    1. Letexier made a good no penalty call + yellow card for simulation yesterday. He was not very well accepted by players (He still quite young) as you said but i found most of his decisions were good especially good advantages
