DeleteFIFA make the colour choices after the organisational meeting. Unlike uefa they also don’t have a change of colour for shirts and socks

Correct penalty. Otherwise relatively easy job in the 1H. Noticeable that his movement isn't best. Interfered with play several times
ReplyDeleteJayed's refereeing in the first half was calm. This is a game I'd like to officiate: two teams simply looking for good football and fair play. Some positioning errors, perhaps a little bit more talking in CK, but very good performance from the Moroccan!
ReplyDelete27:35 AR doesn’t know the law and tells him go have the ball on the arc… It can overhang the corner arc. A FIFA assistant referee not knowing this in 2026 is unacceptable.

DeleteGame went as expected, unless the early part of first half when Curaçao scored a historical goal. However, after that, the game was straightforward until the end.

I think the idea of Collina was about a performance like this, nothing more nothing less.
Second game possible, but unknown whether possible or not to raise the level.

DeleteAgree, expected level performance in a very straightforward game. Although I have to say the overall image presented was rather nervous, without actually connecting with the players during the whole match, and with some positioning issues on more than one occasion. On the other hand, he was actually positioned almost perfectly for the only "big" decision he had to take (the GER penalty) and, with an adequate disciplinary line presented, I think this was a performance everyone can be satisfied with. I sure hope he does get a second game.
DeleteGood/standard pefromance from Jayed in easy match without big issues for officiating. Correct penalty called. Correct disciplinary! Expect to have second game, for more,we will see.
ReplyDeleteStandard, yes. But not more. An easy game, but he was very nervous and I never got the feeling, that he would be able to be in control of a really much more difficult game . So he should get another easy group match, and that's it.
