  1. Considering some of the other appointments, it's not logical to send a Second Group referee to a match, which still is relevant for qualification.
    Otherwise normal appointments, I think.

    DFB has already revealed
    POL-SVN: Siebert, Seidel, Achmüller, Stegemann

  2. KNVB revealed:
    Schotland-Kazachstan
    Nijhuis, Balder, Goossens, Blom

  3. Kulbakov had bad luck, because Spain vs Romania will be like a friendly match. Spain is qualified with Sweden for Euro 2020, and Romania hopes are for Nations League playoff to be at this competition.

  4. Still no Skomina in Euro Qualifiers😪

Last week he's in Hungary vs Uruguay

  5. OT: Along with UEFA Referees Convention Panel, UEFA established UEFA Referees Development Panel which consits of mostly ex-members of Referees Committee and some other names that were already considered as important observers (De Bleeckere, Riley) but also some new names that could became important observers in the very near future (Fröhlich, Garibian, Palmquist, Rizzoli, Velasco).
    Here is the full list:

    Referee Development Panel
    Panel Développement des arbitres
    Ausschuss für Schiedsrichterentwicklung
    Frank De Bleeckere (Belgium)
    David Elleray (England)
    Herbert Fandel (Germany)
    José Fontelas Gomes (Portugal)
    Lutz Fröhlich (Germany)
    Pascal Garibian (France)
    Bo Karlsson (Sweden)
    Nikolay Levnikov (Russia)
    Jenny Palmqvist (Sweden)
    Mike Riley (England)
    Nicola Rizzoli (Italy)
    Jaap Uilenberg (Netherlands)
    Kyros Vassaras (Greece)
    Carlos Velasco (Spain)

    1. Well, so this definitely explains why the former committee members have still their importance when they go to observe some referees. Just a switch on paper, but I would even dare to say that "main committee" still considers them very close.
In addition, welcome to the "real new" names, like Rizzoli.

  10. Do you know the referee for Brazil - South Korea friendly to be played tomorrow?

  11. 2 mistakes by AR2 within the first 3 minutes of IRL-DEN. After 15 seconds miles away from goal line to judge whether ball is in or out, this is a small mistake. However, 3 minutes into game, huge offside missed. Bad start for him

  12. Missed foul by Brych at 26' - was that inside the penalty area?

As we can be used to, no good replays to assess...

  13. Missed foul and RC for DOGSO by Millot‘s team
in Gibraltar-Switzerland. Defender clearly pulled the attacker back that could have gone through towards the goal. The situation occured after a long ball by the goalkeeper and therefore it was impossible for Millot to get a good view. However AR 2 must definitely have helped

  14. Tiago Bruno Lopes Martins with a relaxed evening... now he correctly booked a player. The next step will be preventing frustration by Armenian side.

    2. Yep, not even a YC. Kulbakov missed the contact point.

  18. Easy match for Eskov. 3 YC's (1-2) in the first half and all were correct. Expected level.

AR2 with 2 correct offside calls. AR1 with the easiest evening of his career.
