  2. [OFF-TOPIC]
Sebastian Coltescu, the "hero" of PSG - Basaksehir with a very controversial situation in Romanian Liga 1, game UTA Arad vs Rapid Bucharest.

The home team scored a goal in min 89, game was restarted and after 5-6 seconds, the 4th official enters the field, signaling Coltescu that he needs to check VAR for an offensive foul in the build-up play. Coltescu stops game, checks VAR and disallows the goal, although play was restarted!

    1. The character of the foul is very similar to the one Oliver let go in SVKUKR:
      https://streambug.org/cv/1701ea

Then, I guess it was an unexpected breakdown of communication between VAR and referee. Therefore, I could still accept this procedure althought it's de facto technical violation of the LotG and both teams are hence entitled to appeal for a rematch...

    2. The Game Had already continued.. This means that VA Rchecks are No longer posdible.
      Therefore the Game must bevrepeated.

    3. If VAR failed to communicate with the referee and instead communicate with the FO (so he can talk to the referee) because of a technical problem, i dont think its an incorrect procedure.

    4. 1. The Laws of the Game do not allow restart decisions (corner kicks, throw-ins etc.) to be changed once play has restarted, so they cannot be reviewed.

      2. If play has stopped and restarted, the referee may only undertake a ‘review’, and take the appropriate disciplinary sanction, for a case of mistaken identity or for a potential sending-off offence relating to violent conduct, spitting, biting or extremely offensive, insulting and/or abusive action(s).

  3. hope the officials do better than the referee doing the Northern Ireland -Ukraine match ,who is penalising any player that gets within a metre of the goalkeepers ,totally ruining the game
