Lots of complaints about the movement and positioning in his first match. This will be interesting to see how he goes.
ReplyDeleteFor me to get a second match in MD2, he must have done well to get another appointment. Not a high profile match but lots on the line for these two teams.
Already a fast paced game & played at a cracking pace. Not sprinting around but his fitness seems okay and getting where he needs to be in the first 5’
Great positioning and agility by Vincic so far. Few good moments where he avoided attackers running directly towards him!
ReplyDeletePresence, body language and player management all look good so far, although not much for him to do yet.
Agree, a bit like the last match for Sampaio, both teams accepting the high foul bar and both teams willing to play football rather than battle of attrition. This style of “let the game flow” and “keep the cards in the pocket” style is much better suited to these types of teams.
DeleteI haven’t been watching closely but agree on presence, body language and player management. No real big KMI decisions either thus far.
Clear missed faoul in 34 min
ReplyDeletePotential PK missed before the goal, small contact so probably ok call with the guidelines for this tournament
ReplyDeleteOutside thats why stay silence
DeleteYeah, the replay got me, that was close from an OFR
DeleteYes correct, for this World Cup that decision is supported. Important to note that it was a foul for handling the ball on the ground, not a fall for simulation (hence no YC)
DeleteCorrect yc in 43 min
ReplyDelete44’ correct caution for SPA, although during the tournament we have seen many of these type of tactical fouls not given. In this tournament, I would say that Collina/Busacca would rather no YC be given.
DeleteJordan goal should change the match, maybe stretch the game more and increase the desperation of Algeria
ReplyDeleteEnd of first half, many calls for offside correct by AR1. 45’ correct call for handball for JOR att inside the attacking penalty area and correct advantage played.
ReplyDeleteHe made a mistake on two 50/50s at 58’ - didn’t realise exactly what happened
ReplyDeleteUnexpected YC now.
ReplyDeleteThe ball not placed on the spray
ReplyDeleteHydration break at 73' ?
ReplyDeleteYep very delayed maybe he didnt want kill the rytm
DeleteGreat. Why to kill the rythm?! Those breaks are nosense.
DeleteReally close offside call
ReplyDeleteMaybe possible foual on algeria goal
ReplyDeleteOffside
DeletePossible pk as well
ReplyDeleteThat looked offside, SAOT will be interesting
ReplyDelete+1
DeleteI think dont working on this staduim no animation was showing
DeleteYeah really really close call
DeleteVery close
ReplyDeleteNo offside, as the ball was last touched by the Jordanian player."
ReplyDeleteClearly not a deliberate play at the ball as it had just come off an attacker. The image has just been shown
Delete"I couldn't see if it came off the attacker's head... it looks like the ball hit the Jordanian player directly."
DeleteHow #8 JOR is not booked here
ReplyDeleteVincic must be hanging out at Miami Beach in his free time :) He's got a great tan... I'm jealous.
ReplyDeleteIn genral good game we saw improvment from last game maybe some 2 faoul missed thats was clear but with new guidlines i dont know . Iwould like to see him in md3 before ko with chalanging game to see if he will continue with improvement
ReplyDeleteVery good performance from Vincic. Again in some time try to change strict cards for managment, it works on this match. Congratulations to him, i strongly belive that he reserve the place in later stages of KO rounds!
ReplyDeleteLets say- standard pefromances by Sampaio and Fischer, especially Fischer with obvious lack in disciplinary way. We will see what will come further!
