Why Foster not with her team?
ReplyDeleteI just noticed that she has officiated Manchester derby in Women's Premier League. She had officiated some games in England Women's Top Division on last season as well.
DeleteAbout the appointments in UEFA, regarding women they are always flexible and it is very rare to find always fixed teams.
For example we saw Foster with English assistant referees, but also with the Irish AR O'Neill, often at Frappart's side.
I think that mostly these assignments are made for giving a place to federations, as the system regarding women is different than men, and the standard is referee + AR1 from a country, while AR2 with FO from another (in this case Wales and Netherlands). But not always respected.
Yeah I mean still doubtful strategy and strange/enough to questioning because impossible for big FA like ENG or NED can’t provide full team match officials for the match
DeleteI see that in Women UCL the fourth official joins the rest of the refereeing team when exiting the tunnel as well as lining up for the singing of the anthem and the draw with the coin. This is different to the men football. Why is it like this? Surely these are the instructions received from the superiors but I'm wondering what are the reasons.
