Good match for Vinčič.👍
ReplyDeleteFrom the match Celtic vs AEK when Banti lost his marcation spray 😃https://youtu.be/rDdcGiM7EVo
Sorry, can anybody answer me does adidas designed some new kits for uefa cl referees
ReplyDeleteNo special UEFA CL kit this season, referees will wear the standardad 2018 ADIDAS kit.
DeleteGood match for Kruzliak too!
ReplyDeleteAnd Gözübüyük with a very imporant observer, Herbert Fandel.
DeleteI suppose that if he does well, he will have his CL-debute this season.
DeleteA question, where do they use the new Nike referee kids at this moment?. I saw in the Ligue 1 the orange kit, but in the Dutch eredivisie saw I the “old” yellow. In the PL saw I Mariner in black.
ReplyDeleteTwo penalties were awarded last night, both for handball
ReplyDeleteManchester United - Leicester 2' (Andre Marriner)
https://streamja.com/GonG
Olympique Marseille - Toulouse 41' (Ruddy Buquet, VARs Turpin & Castro)
https://streamable.com/lct88
First one - Wrong, play-on is correct one. Hands in natural position.
DeleteSecond one is correct for me. Hands are way up, he didnt jump properly so that cannot be natural position, not so easy to detect on the pitch.
Video from Marriner's game has been removed, here a new link:
Deletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TgtOvfpxLa4
00:30
Looks like a mistake by Marriner, no deliberate handball.
Second one: first VAR intervention ever in Ligue 1, absolutely correct. Missed by Buquet, very difficult to spot live, punishable handball.
The first one is a clear deliberate handball, the video isn't clear but from watching it live the Leicester player just moves his arm up to control the ball unnaturally. No arguments from players either.
DeleteIt was clearly deliberate handball
Deletehttps://streamable.com/cql9g
Ohh sorry I didn't understand the reason of the whistle :D
DeleteI tohught Marriner had whistled for an alleged handball of the first player who deflected the ball. Absolutely correct, movement of the arm toward the ball.
Ye, as Chefren said i was looking for deflection from first player. Correct one.
DeleteNewcastle - Tottenham
ReplyDeleteFirst goal for TOT - https://streamja.com/nzep
Did the ball crossed the line? Not very good angle..
Well that's why there is goal line technology :D
DeleteYes, 0.9mm
Delete9mm. not 0.9mm... :)
DeleteSorry, my bad, 0.9cm
DeleteEXCELLENT RC:SFP by Craig Pawson in Wolves - Everton. Well done.
ReplyDeletehttps://www.clippituser.tv/c/plrkwn
Great decision by Pawson. Absolutely SFP.
DeleteIt’s a clear red
Deletethe commentary at half time said that the RC was for DOGSO, not SFP
ReplyDeleteDOGSO would be the most understandable interpretation here to be honest... IMO this is just never enough for SFP...
Deletehttps://pasteboard.co/HyKlzpx.png
DeleteIt's "never enough for SFP"...?
I think that both situations either DOGSO or SFP are orange.
DeleteIt cannot be DOGSO since he didnt even control the ball and went forward. Clear SFP.
DeleteChris Kavanagh assigned a penalty in this situation, at Huddersfield - Chelsea
ReplyDeletehttps://streamja.com/XWjo
Not really a problem to call PK there
ReplyDeleteGentelmans, what is yours opinion about who is the capital candidate for CL final this year
ReplyDeleteSkomina or Rocchi in my opinion. But with Rosetti all could change.
DeleteIt´s nonsense talk now about final of CL
ReplyDeleteNo it’s not. It’s not based on performance it’s based on who people think will get it as long as the ref is not in controversy. Therefore people can guess now.
DeleteOT: As expected, Uno Tutk is appointed for Supercup.
ReplyDeleteI guess that Roberto Rosetti will be there as well...
DeleteExcellent teamwork by Stefański and Golis. Goal disallowed due to offside.
ReplyDeletehttps://streamable.com/97061
Dynamo Kyiv - Slavia Praha
DeleteStefański - Golis (AR2)
https://streamable.com/97061
Excellent decision, this must be included in RAP.
Without VAR, very difficult to spot.
Player in offside interfered with the play by clearly obstructing a defender who was trying to reach the ball.
First of all it’s a foul for obstruction. Second of all if we pretend that wasn’t a foul it’s a very easy offside and not Excellent.
DeleteWhat I like too, is how calm and decisive Stefanski seems to be, and how quick the AR takes over the decision. Also, how well the 4th official informs the referee and makes him capable of taking the right decisions there too, like showing a yellow card to the right player immeiately.
ReplyDeleteVery well done.
Some info from Buquet's game? Already a red card in first half...
ReplyDeletehttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogIAmgPQvJY
DeleteI'm not sure, do you see a clear deliberate act there?
DeleteIt can be even a simulation... in any case, clearly reported by AR2, since Buquet was looking elsewhere when it happened.
So far, he has a conflict game.
DeleteIt looks deliberate to me, the way he is acting too (you can see he is looking at the player)
DeleteIt seems he is also giving him a knee right before.
About the red card. My opinion is: the Spartak player wanted to provoke a defender, using weak blows to the leg and body. Amazing vigilance of the assistant.
DeleteI don't see anything illegal tbh.
DeleteAwkward situation in Székesféhervár. Estrada Fernández whistles a PK to Mol Vidi, missed by Lazovic whose reaction is hanging from the goal net. Now the net is torn and the match stopped.
ReplyDeleteVideo:
Deletehttps://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6s044s
The player should have been booked for that.
DeleteGood and easy first half of Kruzliak in Amsterdam. 2 PK appeals rightly rejected. 1-0 was maybe offside, the replay wasn’t clear.
ReplyDeleteFC Dynamo Kyiv - SK Slavia Praha
ReplyDeleteGoal disallowed due to offside (discussed above already)

Easy game for Estrada Fernández. A clear and correct PK + YC for goalkeeper in 2nd half.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen the WORST REFEREE in my whole life.... Guzubujuk.....Oh my god!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat’s happening in Trnava? What’s not good in Gozubuyuk performance?
Deletehttp://www.mozzartsport.com/fudbal/vesti/nogom-u-stomak-nije-za-crveni-video/303448
DeleteHe is totally confused... Unbelievable.......for someone who is in first group....
ReplyDeleteHe doesn't know where he is... If someone watch match Spartak Trnava-Red star.....
Clear penalty MISSED by Gozubujuk....he is INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!
DeleteDoes he have problems with management? He showed 9 cards in regular time ...
DeleteI couldn't watch Trnava-CZV, so I'd like to know more.
DeleteWell, at least the video/link shows a clearly missed RC for SFP.
DeleteSuch a pity for Gözübüyük :/
Could you share the link?
DeleteIt's on the discussion above:
Deletehttp://www.mozzartsport.com/fudbal/vesti/nogom-u-stomak-nije-za-crveni-video/303448
I will watch this game on next days just to check what you are saying...
ReplyDeletePlease check... I really never seen worst management I one match... A lot of missed fouls and a lot of wrong as well... He gave few wrong yellow and when he needs to show it he missed it... Missed CLEAR PENALTY and missed CLEAR RED CARD in first half... Very very poor performance... unfortunately
DeleteA bit of overreacting in the comments above IMO but I expected better Gozubuyuk tonight.
DeleteMatch with a lot of strong duels, some of them were evaluated wrongly in a terms of disciplinary control. There was a period where atmosphere on the pitch heated but doesn't escalate. We can speak about not so good/poor disciplinary control and maybe room for better managment but...
The biggest mistake is missed RC for SFP.
Can you share the penalty situation, please?
DeleteThanks
http://www.mozzartsport.com/fudbal/vesti/nogom-u-stomak-nije-za-crveni-video/303448
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing! Looks like a SFP indeed, were there any other angles shown in the live feed?
DeleteOne of the worst refereeing I saw in European competitions. Gozobuyuk missed well, almost everzthing. Missed clear RC in first half, missed another one for punch in the face in second, missed clear PK, missed several YCs for elbowing (there were a lot elbows in this match), missed several corners (!?), missed few outs... Bad management... Trnava players beat up Red Star's players, and at the end of regular time it was 5-4 in YCs for Red Star players! Incredible! He didn't miss only penalty in 120' in favor of Trnava, but totally wrong YC for that penalty. At the end 7-6 in YCs for Red Star. That's a real joke. He didn't miss control of the match, I have to say, but it wasn't that hard match, even though there were harsh fouls from Trnava players.
DeleteI don't know what will Mr Fandel said, but this is what I saw.
13 YCs would (uefa.com has only 12 atm) be a new CL record (including qualifiers), exceeding Eriksson's Bayern-Juventus and Kuipers' CL final.
DeleteTotally agree with you Teo... We saw the same... And of course SHAME....
ReplyDeleteRef made a mistake, life goes on... Next...
DeleteNo need for 10+ comments for a human mistake in a game nobody will remember
@victor
DeleteExactly.
Wow, after that discussion I expect a lot of videos. But I can’t believe that the Dutchman was that bad as you wrote. Which mark would you give him (Teo, Mareska)...?
ReplyDeletePlay-off predictions:
ReplyDeleteCrvena Zvezda - Salzburg: Kralovec / Orsato
BATE - PSV: Taylor / Mateu
Benfica - PAOK: Kuipers / Mazic
Bern - Zagreb: Bastien / Makkelie
Videoton - Athens: Zwayer / Skomina
Ajax - Dynamo: Cakir / Brych

Videoton - Athens: Makkelie/ Karasev
Ajax - Dynamo: Taylor/ Diaz
Crvena Zvezda- Salzburg: Rocchi/ Turpin
Switch Makkelie and Karasev
DeleteWe can expect only elite referees in these matches? From play-off round it`s starting standard groups appointments?
Deleteon Sunday for Tuesday UCL matches;
on Monday for Wednesday UCL matches;
on Tuesday for UEL matches ?!
Yes, should be only Elite, especially as we have a reduced number of matches this year.
DeleteProbably we will see many of the Elite officials in EL play-offs as well.
I thought the referee in the AEK v Celtic game, Bezborodov, had a decent enough game. Only things I remember are the possible push before the 2nd AEK goal, and the YC on 53 minutes that could have been SFP - would need to see them again.
ReplyDeletePlus of course the old time wasting tactics of the GK going down injured for nothing and taking a long time on goal kicks.
Can someone show all these situations?
ReplyDeleteVery good match by Bezborodov, full control, yellow cards all correct.
ReplyDeleteI've just watched the full Spartak Trnava - Crvena Zvezda game. Surely much better Gözübüyük's performance than described on the blog. In case of all the big calls being assessed as acceptable, he could get the good, expected level mark. 8.2-8.3 would be mine. He had control over proceedings till the end of the game. Maybe one, two yellow cards missed and some arrogant gestures that should be avoided. I will make highlights later today.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much :)
Delete@ Chefren, i am very dissaiponted in this REFEREE blog site. If this is the new trend, i will never come anymore to this website. Some idiots (spectators) gave a very stupid reactions on this Blog about Gozubuyk. I watch the match live, and for me, this was one of the best performances from the last years what I saw from a referee. 120 minutes, 1-1, Slovakia-Serbia, no friends, (Spartak - Red Star), return match, big pressure, 6-6 yellow cards, (4 in extra time), all clear no doubt!!, This referee deserve a 8,6/8,7 in this quite challenging match! The both coaches after the match: this was a match for the spectators, what a ambiance, and both coaches and players gave big compliments to the referee team. The loosing coach, Radoslav Latal gave a big compliment and say, "this referee team understand the football"
ReplyDeleteThat’s your opinion and you share it, but you can also admit that people can have a différent point of view :)
Deletethis is a referee blog site, to learn, for education, to support our referees, some comments here (especially 2 people (supporters) try to kill with no underground, before this, this happened also to Mazic and Turpin, don't forget why third team stopped
DeleteYou can answer and report your opinion as well, but you will find people with different ideas. In any case about the specific comments on yesterday's game you are right. Some of them are surely exaggerated. I was about to delete the posts, but the problem is that it seems I want to censor a certain opinion.
DeleteI invite readers to have a more polite approach on the blog.
When you delete such a post, you could write something like "The deleted post stated in an inadequate manner, the opinion that referee ... showed a very poor performance".
DeleteThen it is not censored, but the exaggeration is gone.
With a missed SFP, it can't be "one of the best performances from the last years what I saw from a referee". I agree with you that some comments were just overreaction and that referee performance wasn't poor or the worst one.
DeleteYour best point is:
"this is a referee blog site, to learn, for education, to support our referees, some comments here (especially 2 people (supporters) try to kill with no underground"
I absolutely agree.
And with a missed penalty? What do you think?

ReplyDeleteSlavko Vinčič (SVN)
Klančnik, Kovačič, Ponis
Obs: Levnikov (RUS)
Tough assignment for Slavko Vinčič under the eyes of Mr Levnikov, but I think tonight he took a step closer to a promotion. It was self-evident he was well prepared for what he would face in Istanbul; Vinčič kept hold of this match from first whistle to last.
Some points for consideration:
=> As I mentioned, it was clear Vinčič was prepared for this match. In the first ten minutes, he whistled even minor infractions and was not really interested in letting the play flow. Good. This together with a firm warning for the first foul heading away from careless to BEN18 assured that Vinčič was in control of the pace of the match. After that the atmosphere on the pitch during the first half was relatively relaxed, and he got through the first half with only one YC for a blatant SPA by pulling, referee succeeded here. Perhaps one can call the approach in the opening minutes somewhat 'old-fashioned' (Merk-esque), and not what UEFA demands in this modern always flowing football, but actually it worked and it was what the match demanded (more on UEFA and Vinčič below).
=> He should have enlarged additional time at the end of 1H, FEN scored on 45:01 and he only played the three signalised minutes.
=> Since the second half, there was a big change in the match character. Benfica tried a variety of different ways in order to waste time; the tactic was hardly subtle. This presented a different set of challenges to Vinčič, and needing a more active approach on the pitch. In short the way he solved these problems was good- not more, not less. I liked the quick YC to BEN GK at 49', this one of two YCs for DTR, and generally he encouraged quicker restarts. But sometimes Benfica basically succeeded at killing the match, the problem was there were no big candidates for a YC (besides the two given), it was all eleven players. This is a very English suggestion, but to publicly talk to the captain and say "I don't care who it is, but the next big time-waster will get a YC!', might have worked. But this play from Benfica meant that the match was always on edge...
=> Vinčič showed a really good prevention in this match, he really managed the fact it was on edge specially in the second half. From the tight first minutes he whistled, to his card procedure, this is a big pro of his performance. The way he always rushed in to show the YC, but how it wasn't in an inflammatory way and accepted by the players was really excellent- all referees should look at how Vinčič managed this, it was very good.
How he managed a situation at 54': BEN player is taking a long time over a throw-in, crowd throws an object at him, BEN starts to go down as if injured, FEN substitutes are getting really irritated at him. Vinčič runs over and the whole moment is solved without problems, thanks to how proactive he is. Excellent for my taste.
=> In terms of his self-presentation to the players he was very positively flexible. Authority shown with a firm verbal warning at 8', the empathy shown to BEN18 after he was hit by a projectile object at 54' conversed with a rye smile, the arrogance at 82' when a player tried to shake his hand to waste time. Based on whenever I saw him on the pitch, Vinčič seems a very humane person, I think he arouses trust and respect from players. For 'us' referees he is very likeable and a great role model for younger referees, I think.
Overall Vinčič confirmed his promise and with keeping good performances for the rest of the year, should ascend to Elite. Being assigned this game was an unofficial 'Highest Rated First Category' award and he showed this was justified on the pitch. My fear is, that he is not the kind of streamlined referee that UEFA would necessarily like, but I think he is absolutely a modern referee and one that deserves to be at the highest echelon of European refereeing.
And here is the link to refereeing highlights of Spartak Trnava - Crvena zvezda
ReplyDeletehttps://ok.ru/video/940194531948
And indeed, he made many mistakes.
DeleteIs this his usual style in the Netherlands? He tried to be important, walked with pride, but did many unnecessary gestures, frowned his face, etc.
Mr Treimanis showed a good performance in BATE - Qarabag. Besides the card procedure for the 2nd YC, expected level from the Latvian.
ReplyDeleteWith only 33 years I think he could have big potential.
