  1. OT: Al Hazem-Al Nassr
    Referee: Dario Herrera (ARG)

    https://youtu.be/ZPa0dd85P5o?si=knnxYOe9oe07txwx

3:55 did you think that it was clear and obvious error from the ref? The commentator said it was not a foul but VAR decide to intervened and goal annuled by Dario (I forgot who was in charge behind the monitor).

  2. Rangers v Celtic - Don Robertson referee.
Rangers goal ruled out by VAR for a foul. It appears that the Celtic player kicks the Rangers player, but the Rangers player adjudged to have impeded the Celtic player by placing his leg in front of the Celtic players

  3. Both VAR Alan Muir and ref Don Robertson should be demoted because when a player of the home side has his leg in front of that of his opponent who is an away player and the opponent kicks the back of his leg of the home player then it was never a free kick. The referee having initially awarded a goal then chicken's out when he is asked to watch the replay is a referee who does not have the courage to stick with his CORRECT original decision. When are the on field officials going to referee the game and not rely on the intervention of the VAR who believe it or not can also make errors of judgements. The game is being ruined by errors and incorrect decisions. The only decisions which VAR are being correct with are OFFSIDE but even then they are taking far too long to arrive at what should have been easier to spot earlier. Crawford Allan is surely out of his depth as the Head of Scottish Refereeing.

Indeed never a clear and obvious mistake, I think even a foul in favor of Rangers should be supportable in this action...

    1. I think it's good game reading by VAR and the goal was correctly disallowed. Look, Rangers player has no chance to play the ball by performing this action, the only thing he does is putting his leg in front of the player who controls the ball. It's careless tripping, simple as that.

    2. Indeed Chefren is Correct that it is not a clear and obvious error therefore VAR should not have been involved but now he will be refereeing the week after the International break. If a player had made such an error then he could expect to be dropped.

    3. Euro Soccer Ref The Rangers player played the ball and the resulting play led to what should have been a GOOD goal. How you can possibly say it was careless tripping is almost as BAD as the decision. It was NEVER a clear & obvious error.

      Delete
    4. He played the ball because, at first, he put his leg in front of his opponent making him unable to play it. Answer two questions: 1) who is controlling the ball at the moment of Rangers player's action; 2) what was the target of Rangers player's action?

    5. I'm with Euro ref on this one. Had the Rangers player gotten any sort of touch on the ball. Then by all means, play on and goal. But in this case. The Celtic player has possession of the ball. The Rangers player places his leg in such a manner that only looks to impede the Celtic player from playing the ball. So yes, it was a clear and obvious miss by the referee that required a VAR intervention.

    6. Not VAR stuff for me. Can support foul either way but not enough for an intervention for me

  5. OT: Scandal in Portugal, as FC Porto protested a game alleging misconduct on a VAR failure😱😱😱

90' - FC Porto were awarded a penalty for alleged holding but there was nothing and VAR Rui Oliveira rightly recommended an on-field review. Due to technical problems it was impossible for Miguel Nogueira to watch the footage and therefore the phone call was needed to ensure communication. After that, Miguel Nogueira rightly cancelled the penalty.

    2. Watched the game and yes,all VAR stuff was supportable, but the way Nogueira handled match was not pleasant to watch.

Inconsistent in foul calling, too lenient and not convincing body language.

    3. Watched it too and felt like a good game until the 86th min VAR check. Then, really poor, lots of mistakes and absolutely out of the game.

    1. Fake news. Taylor had a good match.

    2. For clips making - penalty arsenal revoke taylor, no penalty hojland, offside mun and foul goal 2-1 arsenal.

    3. Outwith the key incidents, a generally good game. The key moments:
59' Penalty, overturned after OFR. Perhaps slightly surprising given the high-bar in England for VAR involvement, however no initial contact then the knee contact wasn't the fault of the attacker. So, a good intervention for me, although it was very understandable why Taylor initially gave it.
87' No penalty, no punishable contact, only the United manager seems unhappy.
88' Offside, close, factual intervention. Again, complaints about using the wrong frame/angle are only from the uneducated.
96' Regular goal. Some complaints about a foul in the build up (holding), but again, nothing punishable.
65' Good YC after advantage, and 68' good caution for Dtr after many warnings.
Overall, yes, there were two VAR inteventions, but not a bad game by Taylor and, for once, a good VAR team in England (led by Gillett)

  7. Very scandalous and talkative are in Croatian public 2 nights in a row.

Title race between Dinamo and Hajduk is heating up,and every match that they are part of being closely monitored.

Tonight,we had pretty eventful Dinamo's match, yesterday was also 'loud' in Hajduk's match.

    So let's see situations;

    Osijek-Dinamo

Man in charge was Mario Zebec and the VAR ref was Ivan Bebek.
This match sparked a lot of rumours and negative talking about Zebec and Bebek.

This was Zebec's 3rd match after one year break(suspended, injured,I dont know) and Bebek is Bebek-whether he is retired,he will continue to be headline :D .

But,Osijek were leading 2 0,and these penalties came after that so already you have public that is creating drama and acusing Dinamo that referees are handling macthes in their favour.

    1)penalty,inside or outside:

    https://youtu.be/vVlZJ_2nq-s?t=472

    2)penalty,foul;

    https://youtu.be/vVlZJ_2nq-s?t=570

    Hajduk-Istra

Main ref was Igor Pajač,VAR was Ivan Vučković

    1)YC issued,potential RC?

    https://youtu.be/1KUVbmrOMnc?t=289

    2)foul before Istra's goal?

    1. You forgot to mention an additional fact, that VAR cancelled 2 Hajdum goals for offside.

IMO all 4 decisions were correct in the end (with the disclaimer that there should be an offside line or sth proving it was handball inside the box)

However, it is very bad that Zebec stayed silent in both situations, also unlucky to have these situations at the end of the match. It all together created an impression of some hesitating and planning what do whistle or not.

      Delete
    2. Well I only wanted this from man refs, cause for offside stuff the lines are drawn and very rarely you have that someone messes that up.

  8. Second appearance as fourth official this season for Kulbakov. The sensation is that committee is in trouble to appoint him, while for Belarusan Category 2 officials is easy to find rather "hidden" games... is that fair?

    1. I think if UEFA want appoint him actually is possible in SERHUN, ARMCRO, or KAZNIR/KAZFIN.

  9. Joonas Jaanovits seems to be the only referee from last U19EURO that is treated differently to others. IMO, it's very unfair as he is surely not less talented than Bogár, Xhaja or Frid...
