  1. Totally expected appointments for me!
For 25th Now I guess at:
    Ned v Aus - Kovacs
    Fra v Pol - Schrarer
    Eng v Slov - Letexier
    Den v Ser - Turpin

    1. I think
      NED-AUT: Kovacs FRA-POL: Kruzliak
      ENG-SVN: Gil Manzano DEN-SRB: Turpin
But I have no arguments against yours as well.

    2. Not sure if Gil Manzano would do England after a few issues not too long ago (think it was two red cards IIRC including one after the final whistle)

    3. I have two thoughts - Save 1 referee for 1 x GS & straight to KO (Marciniak) and 1 who performed poorly in their 1st GS match, or 2 (any for some reason I just feel Kruzliak & Guida) have been planned for 1 GS and then act as 4O in Group & KO stages.

    5. I also though for the final MD on 26th, Tello could act a 4O in Frankfurt to Manzano

    6. EnglandREF That was years ago and he’s had England since, can’t see it being an issue

  2. I think serbia - Denmark letexier and not Turpin ... He dont deserve a decisive game in the group stage.
Maybe England - Slovenia for him. Is lower profile match.

Letexier was excellent the first match, that deserve a decisive one.

I think Guida for Netherlands Austria
And France Poland a ref we will not see in the knock-out out stages

    1. What are your thoughts now after I predicted this appointment 2 days ago and you replied:

Advice: Review the file from Euro Soccer Ref https://files.fm/u/auqzte7c5h

    2. What facts were you talking about vs opinions?

    3. My Thoughts to answer your question.
      1. Congratulations to the Makkelie team and your prediction was right. Nice appointment
      2. Still hope you have watched the file. ( facts).
      3. Facts are valid for everybody and opinions are individual views.

    4. Yes I've watched the file and still came to the same conclusion/opinion that Makkelie was the right choice for this fixture.
It seems UEFA's opinion was the same!!

    5. Oh - and that appointment is fact!!

    6. Regrettably, another fact is being sent home! A hard blow for Makkelie and his team and hopefully he will come back even stronger. No hard feelings!

  4. So, we should have the confirmation that UEFA at least supported Makkelie's decisions in GER-HUN: No foul prior the 1-0, no penalty for handball. And I agree.

  5. Expected appointments.
Crucial game for Makkelie, glad that Nyberg got a second assignment as well, as said yesterday, for me game is not that important, and there is a cleargap between ALB and ESP, so suitable for the Swedish, who has relatively less experience, if compared to other Elite. In case of good game, he could officiate a KO stage, but I have feeling in his case it will be also a question of free spots.

  6. Today the observers are not released by UEFA, let's see whether later they will appear or not... maybe they are still thinking about.

  7. My prediction 25 June
    France – Poland: Scharer
    Netherlands – Austria: Kovacs
    Denmark – Serbia: Turpen
    England – Slovenia: Letexier
There is a league for the two Frenchmen to be in the same group. I would give the more difficult match to the more experienced one, but this could also be the end for him.
I'm still not sure which one Guida, Siebert and Kruzliak will remain with one match.....The Italian and the Slovak definitely deserve a second. Now I see that my prediction matches that of Alfie46.I'm glad we think alike, but the options here are not limitless either. Let's see.....

    1. I think France-Poland for Kruzliak. Not much at stake and one team clearly better than the other

  8. Manzano nowhere to be seen - good.

    1. You are wrong, Manzano will be in Group E.

  9. I believe that if Nyberg's performance is as good in this second game as it was in the first, he will certainly have a third game in the round of 16 and then he will be released in preparation for the Paris Olympic Games.

  10. I also believe that Nyberg can referee one more match in this Euro. In Paris for the Olympics, without the Swedish football team, barring sensational errors, he will be able to go far ahead in the tournament.
