DeleteInteresting decision to put Lahoz on the Qatar vs Senegal game. Me like most people, would've expected him to be in the middle for Argentina vs Mexico. I suppose Makkelie would be a strong contender to officiate this fixture now
ReplyDeleteAbout Mateu Lahoz, similar use to his recent CL games, not real top clashes (and Argentina - Mexico would have been so), but rather extremely important game for a team (in this case, Qatar and we know how much attention is given to host) but in more "background" scenario.

ReplyDeleteI think that the "conf neutrality" criterion is the only important for the Committee. Common language (e.g. Lahoz in ARG-MEX Conger/Beath in ENG-USA) does not play any role. So, I failed in my predictions.
