I really like Vinčić management, he didn't allow a player to have the last word, it wasn't an aggressive behavior, but for sure referee had to reply in a way. He did that. Another referee would have ignored it (5').
ReplyDeleteIn minute 11' in my opinion a YC was mandatory for a foul stopping a counterattack and also reckless. In this case very difficult to back referee.
ReplyDeleteOptional YC for me in this case
DeleteMinute 31' another good warning by Vinčić, normal difficulty so far, not a challenging game.
ReplyDeleteIn 42' there was an accidental collision with a player from Turkey hit on his head, Vinčić should have stopped the game for safety reasons, but I think he didn't see that. Apart from this incident, a definitely easy first half for him, without any real challenge.
ReplyDeleteHe brought his whistle to his mouth then gave up. I think AR2 said he stood up or he is ok.
DeleteEasy game for Vincic so far. He is fully concentrated.
ReplyDeleteI advice you to switch to the other game of you are a neutral viewer. It much more interesting!
ReplyDeleteMinute 70': correct YC for a clearly reckless challenge.
ReplyDelete4 minutes later another correct YC.
In this second half so far, almost nothing happened.
not a very difficult game, but still very impressiv from vincic. great fitness and all decisions are well accepted. Now also with two correct YC.
ReplyDeleteNow some cards after a very quiet first part of second half, and a penalty appeal as well. I find supportable the choice to play on, risky action by Turkish defender, but not a very clear penalty. Another booking followed for protests. Still OK by referee.
ReplyDeleteI think so too. Penalty would not have been wrong, probably even the better decision, but play-on is supportable.
DeleteI agree with that too. Penalty was definitely possible and would have been confirmed by VAR but it was not a mandatory decision. Good YC for dissent, Vincic told the player to go away not only once...
DeleteBravo Vincic.
ReplyDeleteIf UEFA is ok with the penalty decision (what I suppose), it was faultless in my opinion. Fitness and communication/man manegement were very good. Technically it wasn‘t a hard game for the referee. Very good performance!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree with you Cassio
DeleteVery solid performance by Vincic. Not the expected intense match but Vincic did what he had to do. Third match is a safe bet.
ReplyDeleteOverall I think an expected level performance by Vinčić, the most interesting minutes occurred between 70' and 80'. One can support the referee regarding the only crucial incident of the game, the rest was OK, with the cards issued, but first of all, great personality.
ReplyDeleteHe could keep the chances for a KO game, but it stays difficult due to other options. For sure he didn't do anything wrong to lose the ticket, so, in case, the decision in my opinion will be taken based on availability for him.
I'm sure committee will find a match that suits Vincic. Based on performances he really deserves it.
DeleteVincic interrupts the game too much with fouls (even with very simple fouls). UEFA wants a fluent game. It's hard to be a great referee with this mentality.
