According to the radio commentary I'm listening an Austrian player went down with a potential concussion he was allowed to continue scored a goal but went down twice afterwards complaining of dizziness and had to be substituted 10 mins later. Are there concussion substitutes and can the referee enforce them
ReplyDeleteHe got treatment and came back to the game and scored the goal. 11 mins later his head was turning again and he left the field.
DeleteExpected level by Cakir in 1H. Teams are fighting for the win but so far it's an easy game for him.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, a very boring and not challenging game so far...
ReplyDeleteActually both teams are fighting for 3 points and this is first half.
DeleteThe game is getting harder under referee control
Good performance by Cakir in 1H
ReplyDelete47' was, in my eyes, excellently and shrewdly handled.
ReplyDeleteCakir cool, clear and as nearly always the accepted master of the match. I did not see any clear mistake up to now... I hope we see him again in the tournament.
ReplyDeleteFully agree
DeleteNot even YC. Great performance by Cakir team. They are definitely staying.
ReplyDeleteSo good for Cakir, he seems to have the ticket for KO stage as well!
ReplyDeleteGreat performance again,,congrats cakir and team.
ReplyDeleteVery clear job from Cakir as we expected..
ReplyDeleteWell done!!
Congrats to Cakır' Crew.
ReplyDeleteMr. Çakır reflected his experience in the field. He read the game well and lived up to expectations. One of the top 3 referees of the tournament until today.
ReplyDeleteXD
ReplyDeleteReading comments here I would think the game was very challenging and Cakir was very good! But I watched the game and it was one of the worse if not the worst game of the tournament so far. Apart from the conflict at 48., Cakir had almost nothing to do.
Yeap worst game of the tournament and u r watching it just for cakir!! what a great referee :)))
DeleteBoring match, but it was the only one that matter among the two games played at that time.
DeleteIt is really interesting to read CNN moments like "easy game", "nothing to do" without reflecting the fact that that happens very often to "great" referees, who have the natural aura of full respected authority from the begin after years of experience and good performances. So it happens much more seldom that players try out to cross the boarders: They know them before. That is why the really great refs benefit from what they have achieved already - and they deserve it. Cakir, Brych, Kuipers or before Mazic are typical for that. It does not work that way always... But often!

DeleteComments, not CNN moments. Sometimes correction programs are really funny.
