  3. 30 ‘ : no foul on Cavani. Good call.

  4. Only 3 comments in 30 minutes shows how calm game really it is .

    1. God what a boring match ! ^^

    2. But we can notice a good prevention by Turpin before 1-0 and with Suarez’s nervosity. Good physical presence.

  5. Record with only 6 comments in first half... really nothing to report from this game.

    1. That's the reason Turpin is appointed here??? Could've been Hauata or Finger's game very easily!

    2. What country is Finger from?

  6. Suarez and his altercations with opposing players are the only thing challenging for Turpin in this game.
Interesting to see how he handles that for the rest of the game.

  7. Easy first half for Turpin, no problems at all. Only a missed corner in 15‘ can be mentioned.

  8. Dreadful first half. For my taste, Turpin missed a YC for a tactical foul in the stoppage time by an Uruguayan player.

    1. Disagree Howard. When we saw this half, no YC needed so far ;)

    2. Would need a replay to judge, the foul seemed kinda rough too. But yeah, I tend to be a bit more on the "card"-giving side.

  9. Boring game. Overall a very low level of football at this WC. Many games that really bore you...

  10. Don'twant - Cannot 1:0
Boring and not challenging at all... poor Turpin should def. get a better 2nd game...
Well still 13min. for anything to happen... snore... phhht!

    1. Uruguay played 2 most boring games in WC!
Turpin got bored, too, and for me missed YC when foul occured on 17 meters from Arabia's goal.

  11. Let‘s make it interesting: Next game without any card?

    1. I think so. You can notice good assessments by assistants referees about offside positions.

  12. I think they can leave the VOR in Moscow and go back to the hotel or eat some ice cream...

  13. Shocking level of football there, a similar game to EGY - URU.

    1. Much poorer than that IMO... Egypt v Uruguay was boring but at least the quality of football was good!

  14. This game does not deserve four more minutes.

  15. It's like watching Bruk-Bet Termalica Nieciecza vs Sandecja Nowy Sącz in Polish Ekstraklasa. ;)

The only incident worth of mention is the push in 70'. Penalty could have been given but referees decided it was not enough. A matter of opinion.

  16. When something interesting happens, there is always Luis Suarez in the middle...

  17. Terrible match. As we say in Spanish, "infumable".

  18. This game was nothing different than a training session for Turpin. The most difficult thing in games like this is to remain concentrated and alert. I hope Turpin will get another (more) interesting match in which he can show his abilities.
AND: Once again no cards at all :D

    1. Tunisia v Panama?? What we saw from their first games, this match won't be short of action at least... Might be a good test for Turpin actually!

  19. So now we have Egypt - Saudi Arabia without any interest for both teams. Can't wait for this appointment, maybe even a chance for Hauata.

    1. You may end up with someone like Julio Bascunan or Sergei Karasev!

  20. The worst game I have seen in recent memory. Shameful performance, especially by Uruguay who did almost nothing.

Turpin had little to do, we can maybe talk about small mistakes, but seriously, I feel pity for him that he had to referee this.

    1. I feel even more sorry for the VARs who cannot move and had to watch the whole game... I hope they called the delivery service and had some delicious food.

    5. And nobody is allowed to enter the VOR during the match, right?

      Delete
    6. Indeed. Not even Busacca is allowed, he must stay out.

  21. In this boring game we saw typical Turpin style-calming everything with talk and his pressence, lenient on cards, this time he didnt even show one but in this procession of a match who can blame him for that.

  22. Wonderful movement, positioning and prevention by Turpin.
    He really improved his fitness
(He spent some time with Milorad Mažić, maybe he got some important advice) :))

  23. For sure this tournament is not challenging like the previous ones in terms of pressure on the referees and so on, at least in most of the games, we have experienced a more than calm background. Also, we don't have many quick actions, most of the assistant referees are never challenged.
I said that the level of refeereing has improved if compared to 2014, of course, but one must also say, the quiality of football is shocking there.

    ReplyDelete

    1. It's not shocking... You're being too harsh IMO... Players have reduced unfair conduct a lot because of VAR presence and Busacca's warnings... So those are some unnecessary headaches which are not on referees this time... But that said many big teams missing out and small teams qualifying means a little bit of dilution in quality of football and we can't do anything about that :)

      Delete
    2. I think shocking is just right. Most of the times I really struggle to do not fall asleep. I don‘t want to imagine the quality of games with 48 teams at a WC - a pity that Italy and the Netherlands are not part of this year‘s WC.

      Delete
    3. The low quality in my eyes is not just because of teams like Saudi-Arabia, but especially due to teams like Brazil, Portugal and Uruguay trying to defend with 10 players once they take the lead.

      Delete
    4. for me many games were pretty interesting. This one was only fifth imo that wasnt interesting to watch

  25. HELLO VIEWERS

GET OUT OF FINANCIAL MESS WITH THE HELP OF drbenjaminfinance@gmail.com

I have been in financial mess for the past months, I’m a single mum with kids to look after. My name is REBECCA MICHAELSON, and am from Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. A couple of weeks ago My friend visited me and along our discussion she told me about DR BENJAMIN OWEN FINANCE of drbenjaminfinance@gmail.com that he can help me out of my financial situation, I never believed cause I have spend so much money on different loan lenders who did nothing other than running away with my money. She advised, I gave it a try because she and some of her colleagues were rescued too by this Godsent lender with loans to revive their dying businesses and paying off bills. so I mailed him and explain all about my financial situation and therefore took me through the loan process which was very brief and easy. After that my loan application worth $278,000.00USD was granted, all i did was to follow the processing and be cooperative and today I am a proud business owner sharing the testimony of God-sent Lender. You can as well reach him through the Company Email drbenjaminfinance@gmail.com

    THANK YOU VERY MUCH
